The Camper Project: A Little Crazy, A Lot of Love
Well, guess what?
We bought a camper.
And before anyone asks; yes, it needs some TLC.
Okay... a LOT of TLC.
When we first saw it, most people probably saw worn-out cabinets, dated paneling, and a mountain of work ahead. But Nathan saw something different. He saw potential. He saw an opportunity to learn new skills, challenge himself, and build something with his own hands.
Over the last few days, he has been working incredibly hard tearing things apart, figuring out what needs to be replaced, and learning as he goes. There have definitely been moments of stress, frustration, and wondering what we got ourselves into. Every project seems to uncover three more projects.
But that's part of the adventure.
What I love most is watching Nathan dive into something completely new and refuse to give up. His determination and willingness to learn are turning this old camper into something special. It's not just about fixing a camper, it's about creating a space that will eventually hold memories we'll cherish for years.
One day, the sawdust will be cleaned up. The tools will be put away. The endless project lists will finally be crossed off.
And then?
We'll have our own little getaway.
A place to escape for a weekend. A place to watch sunsets, sit around campfires, fish, hike, laugh, and disconnect from the chaos of everyday life. A place that was built with hard work, patience, and a lot of love.
We have our whole lives ahead of us, and this camper is just the beginning of the adventures we'll share together.

Because every great transformation has to start somewhere.
